She was predeceased by: her mother Gertie Bell Douglas (Thomas); her husband Donald James Cox, Jr.; her son Thomas Andrew Cox; her father Ira Lee Douglas; and her siblings, Tex Jurald Douglas, Nancy Almeda Dick, Ola Fay Mitchum, Betty Lou Barnes, Hobart Laney Douglas and Rickie Lynn Douglas.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Wooden, Heather Cox (Rachel) and Wes Cox (Yvette); her grandchildren, Christopher Wooden, Tyler Wooden, Jamie Cox, Nicki McDaniel, Trevor Cox and Ethan Cox; her great grandchildren, Jonathan Wooden, Alfred Wooden, Luke McDaniel and Jet McDaniel; her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Douglas (Tex), Cecilia Douglas (Laney) and Carolyn Douglas (Rick); and her friend Bettye Jean Robertson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
