She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Hollan, Sr.; her daughters, Crystal Fortman and Carla Johnson; and her parents, Charles Sanderson and Ester Rodgers Sanderson.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Lynn Carroll of Mayfield, KY, Allen Hollan (Lucy) of Marquette Heights, IL, Richard Hollan of Farmington, KY, Gerald Hollan, Jr. (Ruth) of Benton, KY and Patricia Shaw of Peoria, IL; and her sisters, Mary Copeland of Mayfield, KY and Janie Copeland of Mayfield, KY. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren.
