She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Carter; her son Dennis Lamb; her brother Bobby Thomas; and her parents, Oscar Thomas and Ruth Lamb Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Carter of Mayfield, KY, Denise Lamb McAlpin (Scott) of Mayfield, KY, Sherry Carter Perkins of Mayfield, KY and LaVeda Carter Fields (Duane) of Mayfield, KY; and her sister Sidney Lemond (Bill) of Mayfield, KY. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
