She was predeceased by: her sisters, Norma Stephens, Bonnie Brown, Mary Martin and Madge Norman; and her parents, Preston Brown and Lena McAlister Brown.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Stephens of Union City, TN and Patty Riley (Mike) of Mayfield, KY; her sister Martha Cooley of Water Valley, KY; and her grandchildren, Courtney McKinney (Kyle) and Jason M. Rust (Rebekah). She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
