He was predeceased by: his wife Dana Gail Mullins; his parents, Fred "Pit" Mullins and Lela Mullins (Pittman); and his siblings, Monette Parker, Dorothy Prince, Robbie Mullins, Bonnie Garland and Wayne Mullins.

He is survived by: his children, Dennis Mullins (Tonya) of Mayfield, KY, Lisa Adkins (Michael) of Sedalia, KY and Mark Mullins (Karen) of Clinton, KY; and his sister Anita Prince of Fulgham, KY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
