With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Coach Jay F. Buckley of Mayfield, Kentucky, born in Wilmington, Delaware, who passed away on April 24, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Buckley and Catharine Buckley; his sister Michele Gilbo; and his grandparents, James F. Hollywood and Katherine B. Hollywood.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Barber Buckley; his sister Corinne Holzman (Bob); his nephews, Brian McEwan and Gregory McEwan; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Caitlin, Kaylee, Colin, Cooper, Carter, Sean and Dillon.
