He is survived by: his wife Barbara Brewer Hancock; his children, John Hancock (Margaret) of Martin, Kentucky and Melissa Hancock (Stanley Collins) of Martin, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Brent Hancock (Kim), Nicholas Hancock, John Thomas Hancock (Hailey), Whitney Lacole Hancock, Jacalyn A. Hancock and Larry Wesley Hancock; and his siblings, Ricky Hancock of Floyd County, Larry Hancock (Vonetta) of Printer, Brenda Meade (Johnny) of Prestonsburg, Shirley Wallen (late Oscar) of Paintsville, Sherry Shelton (late Tommy) of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky and Friends. He is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren.
