He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren G. Cornell and Naomi Ford Cornell. He is survived by: his wife Marie Stratton Cornell; his daughters, Audrey Smallwood (Kenny) of Greensburg and Kristina Pigg (Todd) of Ekron; his grandchildren, Kenton Smallwood (Samantha), Tyler Smallwood (Samantha), Brent Pigg and KaRissa Smallwood (Sabrina); his daughter-in-law Jessica Cornell of Greensburg; and his pet MayBelle. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
