He is survived by: his wife Hazel Kessler Skaggs; his daughter Janet Skaggs Meredith of Magnolia; his grandson Bryan Meredith of Clarkson; his sister Faydell Nunn of Magnolia; and his sisters-in-law, Lucille Skaggs, Bernice Talley, Sue Sydnor, Patsy Hart and Merial Kessler.
