He is survived by: his wife Virginia Mae Robinson Slayton; his daughters, Donna Williamson (James) and Kathy Sallee (Terry); his foster children, Damien Speed, Cassidy Speed and Jenny Sallee; his grandchildren, Anthony Boone (Christina), Marci Boone, Tommy Speed (Jamie), Sarah Sallee and Alyssa Sallee; his great grandchildren, Austin, Kadence, Logan, Eli, Chloe, Damien, Cassidy, Victoria, Cody, Xander and Jenny; and his siblings, Thomas Slayton, Sammy "Bo" Slayton (Sandra) and Rita Brasher (Jerry).
