She was predeceased by: her husband Robert S. Waite; her grandson Gabriel; her parents, Johnny Botts and Lizzie Blankenship Botts; and her siblings, Juanita Allen, Evelyn Bridges, Beatrice Hennegler, Henrietta Bridges, Lonzo Botts, Oscar Botts and Ezra Botts.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Abner (Randall); and her granddaughters, Melissa Heath (Benjamin), Jessica Estep (Jonathan) and Vanessa Abner. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
