He was predeceased by: his grandson Ryan Carter Poston. He is survived by: his wife Ida; his children, Lisa Carter (Peter) and Michael Finke (Susan); his grandchildren, Michael Jr., Matthew, Alison, Katherine and Elizabeth; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Mitchell, Kate, Cole, Addie, Lucy, Henry, James, Tripp, Benjamin and Charlie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ryan Carter Poston Scholarship at Blessed Sacrament School (Fort Mitchell, KY) or the Finke Family Scholarship at Covington Catholic High School (Park Hills, KY).
