She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmett French and Mary Katheryn Morris French; her husband Richard William Gentry; her son Larry Gene Gentry; her daughter-in-law Deborah Gentry; her grandchildren, Josh and Jenna Gentry; and her brothers, Hoover French and William French.
She is survived by: her son Stanley Wayne Gentry of Mt. Sterling; her grandchildren, J. Patrick Gentry of Lexington and Jordan Talbot Gentry (Anna Claire) of Lexington; and her close friends, Julie Baird of Mt. Washington, Faye Bowman of Louisville, Helen Stewart of Louisville and Jamie Cameron of Louisville. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home (206 S Main St, Greensburg, KY 42743). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Oak Grove Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
