It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Joseph Gittings of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis "Ed" Gittings and Abigail "Gail" Gittings; and his sister Debbie Kavanaugh (late Michael). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Peak; his children, Kevin and Kim; his grandchildren, Hannah, Joey and Emmitt; and his siblings, Greg, Jeff (Young In), David Gittings and Abbie Oesterritter (late Brent). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ratterman Funeral Home (3711 Lexington Rd, Louisville, KY 40207). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Stephen Martyr (2931 Pindell Ave, Louisville, KY 40217).
