He was predeceased by: his father Henry Thomas Burton; his son Gary W. Burton Jr.; and his siblings, Brenda Keith, Ronald Burton and Freddie Burton.
He is survived by: his wife Judy M. B. Burton; his children, Todd (Victoria) and Melinda; his grandchildren, Kandace, Todd Jr., Stefanie (Kaleb), Jessica, Chelsea, Lindsey and Brittany; his great grandchildren, Blakleigh, Cooper, Zina, Charlotte, Silas, Melody, Leland and Cheznie; and his siblings, Audrey Burton (Harold), Sharon Burton and Greg Burton (Rosanna).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (123 Winning Colors Dr, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (123 Winning Colors Dr, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A burial will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at the Pennsylvania Run Cemetery (8405 Pennsylvania Run Rd, Louisville, KY 40228).
