With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Jean Mathis of Lone, Kentucky, born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, who passed away on February 14, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Alber and Doris Alber; and her brother Michael Alber. She is survived by: her husband James Mathis of Paducah; her daughters, Amy Fegenbush (Jeremy) of Columbus and Bethany Farris (Thomas) of Paducah; her stepdaughters, Tracey Larrison (Jeff) of Lone Oak and Stephanie Smith (Chris) of Reidland, Kentucky; her sisters, Elaine Alber of Michigan, Sharon Ruede of Michigan and Beverly Burgett (Steve) of Michigan; and her grandchildren, Laken Abigail Farris, Leah Samantha Farris, Mia Cathryne Fegenbush, Aubriella Clare Fegenbush, Emmeline Paige Fegenbush and Maxwell Quinlan Fegenbush. She is also survived by three step grandchildren; seven step great grandchildren.
