It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca L. Spillman (Lexington, Kentucky), who passed away on November 23, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester A. Prentice, Jr. and Wanda Segar (Charles); her husband Leslie Spillman Sr.; her grandson Tae'vion Spillman; and her sister Teresa Thomas King.
She is survived by: her close friend Joseph Porter; her sons, James Floyd (Ashley), Stephon Spillman (Crystal) and Erik Thomas; her grandchildren, Jada, Tay'zhon and Stephon Jr.; her stepchildren, Freddy Spillman (Ann) and Shamis Talib; her sisters, Mary Robinson (Nathaniel), Miriam Segar, Laureen Segar and Camara Cannady; and her aunts and uncles, Mary Robertson, Katherine Newby (Paul), Thomas D. Thomas (Jackie), James McMillian (Sarah) and Michael Mickens (Deborah). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
