She was predeceased by: her husbands, Jimmie Allen Arthur and Paul D. Smith; her daughters, Janet Arthur Hall and Rebecca Joyce Arthur; her sons-in-law, Michael Hall and Wesley Thomas Dixon; her sister Anita Mayes; and her parents, Jeff Mayes and Hettie Mayes.
She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Kim Arthur Dixon of Lexington; her granddaughters, Dr. Rebekah Dixon McDaniel (Ethan) and Rachel Dixon; her great grandchild Weston Ray McDaniel; her siblings, Jesse Mayes (Gwen), Dr. Jerry Mayes (Tina) and Mitzi Mayes Brown; and her stepdaughters, Karen Hall (Ken) and Rita Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of expressions of sympathy, donations are suggested to one of Loretta's favorite charities, St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
