He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cinson Tierney; his children, Heather Meade Tierney and Matthew Peyton Tierney (Jill Thomas) of Lexington; his grandsons, Charles Wilbur Tauchert of Florida, Matthew Harding Tauchert and Charles Matthew Scott Tierney II; and his great grandchild Tristen Timothy-Henry Tauchert of Lexington.
