He is survived by: his wife Linda Sipple Hess; his children, Phil Hess (Sheila), Tim Hess, Scott Hess (Deedra), Ashley Elam (Bernie) and Kelly Brown; his brother Don Hess (Jane); his grandchildren, Keysha, Jaxon, Phillip Scott, Nathan, Mitchel and Kendal; and his niece Lisa McAllister. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
