With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerold Clay O'Connell of Leitchfield, Kentucky, born in Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 30, 2024 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold O'Connell and Ann Evans O'Connell; and his brother Harold O'Connell. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Webb O'Connell; his children, Jared O'Connell (Kalynn) of Rough River and Jessie O'Connell (Corey VanMeter) of Leitchfield; his grandchildren, Catalanna, Haskel, Jayde, Junior and Kyrie; his siblings, Alicia Hazelwood (Bethel) of Falls, Sandra Kay McStoots of Butler County, Teresa O'Connell of Clarkson and Carl O'Connell (Reesa) of Breckinridge County; and his sister-in-law Sandy O'Connell of Ohio County. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Dermitt Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
