Genevieve Woolen McCormick Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Genevieve Woolen McCormick of Leitchfield, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 25, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Woolen and Junie Payton Woolen; her husbands, William Lee Poynter and Elliott McCormick; her son Robert McCormick; her grandchildren, Chris Burba and Troy McCormick; and her siblings, Ella Mae Duncan, Jesse Lee, Billie, Denver, Donald and Garland Woolen.
She is survived by: her daughter Marcella Stevenson of Falls; and her grandsons, Don McCormick (Jean) of Falls, Ron McCormick (Patina) of Falls and Ronnie Poynter of Leitchfield. She is also survived by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, with many of these sisters-in-law becoming some of her very best friends.
