He is survived by: his wife Dianne; his son Zachary (Kristina); and his brothers, Wallace Donald Smith (Carol Jean) of Raywick, KY and William Gerald Smith of Frankfort. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

To say I am devastated to find this out is an understatement. You were a hard working, good hearted guy that I was proud to call friend. You will be missed greatly be me.”
