She is survived by: her husband Wayne Thomas "Tommy" Kappel; her stepsons, Timothy W. Kappel (Beth) of Elizabethtown and Kelvin Thomas Kappel (Karen) of Mt. Washington; her stepgrandchildren, Shelby Layne (T. J.) of Ashland, Lauren, Hannah and Olivia Kappel of Elizabethtown; her stepfather Kim; her siblings, Sandy Schaefer (Bob), Cathy Feldkamp (Mark) of Louisville, Terry Wood (Woody) of Bardstown, Jimmy Greenwell (Linda) of Louisville and Denny Greenwell (Peggy) of Bardstown; and also David Cassell of Louisville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
