He was predeceased by: his parents, Holland Whitaker and Frances Hogue Whitaker; and his brother Keith Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Joan Whitaker; his children, Chris Whitaker (Mary) and Tammy Whitaker Hart (Brian); his brothers, Ronnie (Barbara), Greg, Leland (Pat) and Paul Whitaker; his grandchildren, Teia, Kirsten, Anthony, Matthew, Skyler, Tayler and Isaiah; and his great grandchildren, Harper and Boston.
