He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Hellard and Flora Mae Frazier Hellard; and his brother Thomas Hellard. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ashbaugh Hellard; his children, Charles E. Hellard (Mary Lou), Anthony Allen Hellard (Tonya), Angela Gayle Hardin and Jennifer Rose Duvall; and his siblings, Randall Hellard (Sue), Margaret Hardin and Agnes Baker. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
