It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Swigert Suter Hockensmith of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, born in Frankfort, Kentucky, who passed away on April 25, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Glover Hockensmith, Sr. and Margaret Shortridge Suter Hockensmith; his siblings, Sally Gayle, Margaret Hockensmith and John Hockensmith; and his son Paul Anthony Dawson.
He is survived by: his wife Gladys Polly Hockensmith of Lawrenceburg; his daughters, Dena Dawson McNabb of Lawrenceburg and Susanna Lee Hafner of Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren, Kelly, Katie, David Dawson (Victoria), Patrick Sea (Sarah), Ashley Drury (Dustan), Andrew McNabb, Emilie McNabb (Cameron Woolums), Brett, Evan Tanner and Gabriela Hafner; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Anthony Dawson, Ashton Drury, Elliott Sea, Carter Sea, Gracelynn Drury and Eli Winder; his brother Francis Hockensmith (Barbara) of Frankfort; and his siblings-in-law, Fay, Barbara, Glenda and Leslie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
