He was predeceased by: his father Cecil Rufus Wells; and his siblings, Margaret Anne Dennis, Blondella Coke, Nellion Hahn, Bill Wells, Cecil Jr. Wells and Don Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Wells; his children, Tammy Payton, Stacy Blank and Cherlynn Cheak; his grandchildren, Michael Cheak, Tyler Cheak, Travis Phillips, Alex Payton and Tara Ann Phillips; and his great grandchildren, Ellie, Jameson and Elijah.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to First Baptist T.V. Ministry.
