He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Aileen Young and James S. "Wop" Caldwell; and his siblings, William Newton "Billy" Caldwell, Angela Marie Caldwell Carr and Wanda Sue "Pootie" Caldwell.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Caldwell of Lawrenceburg; his son Jody Caldwell (Erin); his grandchildren, Ethan and Jadyn Caldwell; his siblings, Betty Rhea "Kitty" McAllister (Jim), Beverly Ann Wooldridge (Bobby), Glenda Gail "Ginny" Caldwell, Barbara Hall, Dillard "Dickie" Caldwell (Regina), James Donald "Shawn" Caldwell (Candy) and Douglas "Dude" Caldwell (Donna); his sister-in-law Lilly Caldwell; and his parents-in-law, Bobby of Lawrenceburg and Peggy Perry of Lawrenceburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
