She was predeceased by: her parent Vansel Junior; her husband James Howard Smith; and her mother Allene Huff Slone. She is survived by: her children, Candace Smith-Giles (Will) and Brandon Smith; her brothers, Robert Slone (Berline), Kenneth Slone (Karen), Phillip Slone (Barb) and Jeffery Slone; her grandchildren, Tristan Guynup, Serenity Guynup, Aryanna Giles and Alexis Smith; and her nephew Friends.
