He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Stratton Cooper; his parents, James Arthur Cooper and Sarah Alice Perry Cooper; his sons, Gene Alan Cooper and John Kelly Cooper; his great grandchild Cara Grace Cooper; and his sisters, Margaret Perry and Peggy Cooper Henderson.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Cooper (Shirley) of Lawrenceburg and Terry Cooper (Janet) of Lawrenceburg; his daughter-in-law Vickie Cooper of Mackville; his grandchildren, Tabitha Lynn Cooper, Jim Cooper (Kayla), Chad Cooper (Lauren), Emily Luttrell (Charles), Joshua Cooper (Nicole), Michael Cooper (Hayley), Laura Cooper, Will Cooper (Emi), Sara Price (Bart), Amanda Hayes (Jason) and Audrey Pauleus (Junior); and his sisters, Maxine Stinnett (Gary) and Patsy Ann Cooper.
