He was predeceased by: his son David Jeremy Murphy; and his parents, Shirley Murphy and Harold Murphy. He is survived by: his grandson Waylon Murphy; his daughter Sarah Beth Murphy-McKaig; his son-in-law Mark McKaig; and his siblings, Becky Sudduth, Sherleen Walton and Timmy Murphy.
