He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Hoskins and Addie Drury Hoskins; and his siblings, Tensie Drury, Geneva Terrell, Velma Darnell, Nellon Catlett, Clinton Hoskins and Wilmer Hoskins.
He is survived by: his daughter Donna Shuttleworth (John); his grandson William "Justin" Brown (Karen); his great grandchildren, Haley Brown and Katie Day; and his siblings, Garland Hoskins (Corina) and Faye Stratton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
