He was predeceased by: his father William John Buffin; his daughter Dorothy Dale O; and his sister Clara Belle Flora. He is survived by: his wife Tina Jane Childers Buffin; his children, Sonja Williams (Barry) of Frankfort, Mary Ellen Alcorn (David) of Lawrenceburg and Charles Thomas Buffin, II (Marilyn) of Jeffersonville, IN; his stepchildren, Tara Thayer (Mike) of Mansfield, OH and James Keith Carpenter, Jr. of Mansfield, OH; and his brother Eddie Buffin of Versailles. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
