He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Hess and Viola Becker Hess. He is survived by: his close friend Meredith Waldridge of Lawrenceburg; his siblings, Linda Turner of Elgin, Illinois, Peter Hess of Schaumburg and James Hess of Arlington Heights, Illinois; his nieces, Catie Hess, Gina Tabernelli, Jamie Bartell, Brooklyn Perez and Grace Perez; his nephew Jaden Perez; and also, Brittaney Waldridge (Tyler Hornbuckle), Derek Waldridge (Abby) and Cody Waldridge (Kim). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
