He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hackett and Emily Hackett (Pirc); his parents-in-law, Daniel and Helen Goodenough; and his brothers-in-law, Patrick Goodenough and George Campbell.
He is survived by: his wife Kate Goodenough Hackett; his stepchildren, Maura Russell (Jonas) and Zachary Emral (Holly Rudd); his granddaughters, Elisabeth, Madelyn and Ella Rose; his sister Rosemary Campbell (Hackett); and his siblings-in-law, Ann Lewin (Dave), Susan Thiem (Gary), Amy Hiles (Barry), Althea Johns Goodenough (late Patrick), Michael Goodenough (Donna), Dan Goodenough (Christi), Joe Goodenough and Tom Goodenough. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
