He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Robert and Leota Marks (Burley); and his sister Lynn Pittman. He is survived by: his wife Josephine "Jo" Meazel Marks; his brother Robert Marks of Cumberland Gap, TN; and his nieces, Laura and Alison.
