He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Pingleton Day; his parents, Nathan Day and Delia Brock Day; and his daughter Lillie Mae Parsons. He is survived by: his children, David Day (Tammy) and Eunice Locker (Charles); his siblings, Boyd Day (Louise), Gladys Green (Maurice), Para Lee Bean, Ruth Poynter and Barbara Napier (Lonnie); and his grandchildren, Keith Locker (Pamelia), Patty Jennings, Amy Renner (Tony), Randy Ash (Jackie), Geoffrey Ash (Pam), Sean David Day (Kayla) and Shonna Hager. He is also survived by his 12 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
