She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Rhodus and Lillie McDonald Rhodus; her husbands, Edward Broaddus and Earl Fothergill; her sons, John Edward Broaddus, Virgil Shelby Broaddus, Walter Noland "Butch" Broaddus, Ronald Joe Broaddus and Stanton Wayne Broaddus; her granddaughter Natasha Broaddus; and her great grandchild Adam Prewitt.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda J. Buntin; her grandchildren, James Virgil Prewitt (Candace), John Brian Prewitt (Gretchen), Brandon Broaddus, Noland Broaddus, Shelby Jean Tillery and Rachelle Broaddus; and her siblings, Delora Howerton, Joy Lawson and Douglas Rhodus. She is also survived by her five great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren.
