She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Deward Mullins and Maud McGuffey Mullins; her son Jeffrey D. Sparks; and her siblings, Hobert Mullins, Harold Mullins, William "Bill" Mullins, Paul Mullins, Carrie Burnell, Elizabeth Mullins, Mary Ann Mullins and Hazel Mullins.
She is survived by: her children, Elmer L. Sparks (Terry) of Casey County, James P. Sparks (Karen) of Lancaster, KY, Timothy W. Sparks of Nicholasville, KY, Tommy Sparks (Misty) of Mt. Sterling, KY and Selene Sparks of Berea, Kentucky. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
