He was predeceased by: his parents, James Herbert and Ima Lee Hamner (Galliher); and his brothers, James and Lewis Hamner. He is survived by: his wife Effie McQueary Hamner; his children, Dorothy Alice Wethington (Chris) of Junction City, Daniel Ray Hamner of Nicholasville, KY and Andrew Allen Hamner of Lancaster; his siblings, Elizabeth Kay Ward (Phil), Delbert Lee, Eugene Thomas and Allan Dale Hamner of Lancaster, KY; and his grandchildren, Wyatt Daniel Hamner, Luke Wethington and Ashley Wethington.
