It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Opal West (La Grange, Kentucky), who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband J. C. West; and her sisters, Linda Abney and Arine Henry. She is survived by: her daughter Elizabeth Satterly (Larry); her grandchildren, Tabitha Welborn (Barry) and Todd Satterly (Michelle); her great grandchildren, Aidan and Ellie Kate Welborn; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Michael Stewart (Hailey) and Ryan Stewart (Caroline); and her siblings, Aleen Muncie, Phillip Wiseman (Margaret), Lois Long (Mike), Polly Hall (Wayne) and Wilma Chaney (Larry).
