It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James H. Bemiss (Jeffersonville, Kentucky), born in Mount Sterling, Kentucky, who passed away on February 6, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bemiss and Amy June Rigsby Bemiss. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Walter Bemiss; his daughters, Michelle Allen (Phillip) of Jeffersonville, Julie Gallegos (Roger) of New Albany and Beth Emonz (Bill) of New Albany; his grandchildren, Noah, Natalie, Sydney, Brayden, Grace and Rachel; and his great grandchild Evelyn. He is also survived by many cousins, friends and extended family.
