He was predeceased by: his parents, Enola Wheat (Blakey) and Harold R. Wheat. He is survived by: his wife Betty Wheat (Sullivan); his daughter Lana (Jack Maupin) of Mt. Joliet, TN.; his sisters-in-law, Joan Wheat and Geneva Collins; and his aunts, Irene Blakey and Evelyn Phelps.
