He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Michael and Lizzie Ellen Warriner Helm; his wife Lena Ruth Garner Helm; and his brothers, Eugene Helm and Montie Helm.
He is survived by: his siblings, Roy Helm (Carol) of Somerset, Roger Helm (Sharon) of Jamestown and Geneva Walters of Jamestown; and his niece Regina Burton of Russell Springs.
