She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hubert and Sarah Eula Hardesty (Hall); her husband Kenny "Peeps" Barger; her children, Janice Barger and Michael "Mike" Barger; her grandson Bradley Rhodes; and her sisters, Laverne Thomas and Carol "Cricket" Fackler.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Bruner (Eddie) and Gary Barger; her daughter-in-law Dale Barger; her grandchildren, Josh Barger (Paula), Shannon Vessels (Jeremy), Jeremy Barger (Kristin), Sarah Shacklette (Travis), Chris Crable (Megan), Danielle Wiltshire (Brock) and Gary Nelson Barger (Paige); her great grandchildren, Cole, Clay Vessels, Avery, Drake Shacklette, Dalton Barger, Abi and Madison Crable; and her siblings, Sheila Pickering (Rodney), Sonny Hardesty (Betty), Jerry Hardesty (Carolyn), Larry Hardesty (Jane) and Wayne Hardesty (Judy). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be privately held at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, for Mrs. Barger's immediate family only, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
