He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Gene Horn and Connie Larue Whitt Horn; his grandparents, Ruby Hensley Whitt, Ernest Whitt and Riley "Tootsie" Horn Francis Crum; his aunt Rosalie Blackburn; and his uncle Bobby Joe Horn.

He is survived by: his son Cory Brian Horn of Knoxville, TN; his sister Rhonda Jo Skeens of Warfield, KY; his nieces, Brooke Estep and Ashley Sartin; and his aunts and uncles, Conley Horn, Riley Horn, Jr., Jimmy Whitt, Bo Blackburn, Kevin Lee Moore, Patricia Thorne, Dedra Moore and Mary Estep.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral cost.
