He was predeceased by: his parents, Riley Clay and Deloris Roberts Clay; his daughter Susie Childers; and his brother Mark Clay. He is survived by: his wife Ronda Clay; his sons, Thomas Clay of Chapmanville, KY, Cory Crum of Inez, KY and Alexander Clay of Inez, KY; his siblings, Riley Clay, Keith "Skebo" Clay and Patricia Clay Salmons; his siblings-in-law, Alan Crum, Daryl Phillips (Kristy), Chris Phillips (Amy), Jason Phillips (Jen), Glenna Hale, Becky Campbell (Jason) and Rachel Crum; his grandchildren, Cayden Crum and Cashton Crum; and his nephews, Brandon Hale and D. J. Hale. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donation be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
