He is survived by: his wife Bessie Lewis Combs of Hyden, KY.; his son Charlie Deppenmeier of Hyden, KY.; his sisters, Linda Day of Hazard, KY. and Carolyn Sandlin (Philmore) of Hyden, KY.; and his granddaughter Sophia Grace Deppenmeier.
