David Spain Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Spain of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 27, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David A. Spain and Erlene Boyd Spain; his wife Isabelle Spain; and his brothers, Robert Wayne "Bobby" Spain and Richard Charles "Tinker" Spain.

He is survived by: his children, David C. Spain (Debra) of Hopkinsville, KY, LaDonna Stanley (David) of Louisville, KY, Jerri Scruggs (Ronnie) of Hopkinsville, KY and Michael Spain (Stacey) of Hopkinsville, KY; his sisters, Mollie Spain and Susan Spain; his grandchildren, Chris Spain (Marsha), Ashley Joiner (Clint), Matt Stanley (Aly), Clay Stanley (Ashley), Hillary Ball (Wesley), Matthew Spain (Emily), Sydney Long (Chris) and Austin Juckett; and his great grandchildren, Ella Spain, Asher Spain, Hannah Hyams (Kenneth), Caleb Spain, Alex Joiner, Keaton Joiner, Madi Joiner, Isabelle Stanley, Chloe Ball, Mason Spain, Isaiah Spain, Cooper Spain, Cameron Juckett, Kayden Long and Madison Stanley.
